Shells on top of Mt Hayes?

A local fellow who works with soils everyday thought he saw typical buried  marine clam bed when working in this area on top of mountain near the Repeater stations

Some geologists ahd a quick look but could find nothing

Still the point is that sea level and ice fluctuating rapidly at that time and question remains How high was the sea at end last ice age? Most geologist guess around 500-1000 feet. Expect new information to be published soon from last years field work
