Hecate is
getting inflow of warm (even hottish) waters –above right As above left shows the water is
coming in off the pacific. The

Reports of dead seabirds from California to
Washington have made us (general public) more sensitive to the changes going
on along our Pacific beaches. Monitoring Seabirds, sea lions, whales, salmon

weather makes the Chlorophyll imagery iffy – but seem to be getting some
bloom conditions off the central coast (thus
upwelling from weak NW winds?) |
