Yes
I know it only looks like a hint of green but the there are hundreds nay
thousands of 1 cell wide filaments there and they will become more ‘obvious’
later in the spring. But they will soon then ‘disappear’ into the alternate
phase (codiolum stage”) which often lives within this black encrusting algae
it is growing on now |
