I have
included the images comparing site from before it was burned I was struck
by the red (algal) areas in upper intertidal on left side of the image And found “Mastocarpus”
(both ‘original’ and regen – see below on this side (west) in contrast with
east side |

the putative
mastocarpus (M= original?) grows
well in this area – as below – the M is area of close up right
|
That is Blidingia (image
below) so assume still in regenerated material (or edge?)– there are scattered blades/ colonies of
Mastocarpus (?) M
