Limpets flat & otherwise

“Striped”

Good profile

 

The one with the “ap” above its head region is showing profile – assume the others which are becoming ‘striped’ would show a similar profile

 

 

“Scutum”?

These flatter types are mostly on lowest part of bolder. As here able to see the radial lines, plus the ‘apex’ nearer center than the juvenile limpet just below it in photo

 

 

Note how the “1st shell” seems to ride on top of later growth (left) and Apex appears to be more towards center than below – the ones below are at earlier growth stage and most seem to be becoming ‘striped’
