BK Intertidal univalves
of BC says thersites is only known Siphonaria
along this coast. Further says
hermaphrodite and has no larval stage. Latter consistent with field
observations where very limited distributions (NW to N sides of island in
upper intertidal) plus usually with juveniles during summer months |

at v on image left; and 1 above. There is something coming from under the
shell at the 2 also; the head (H) has no tentacles
which signals not a ‘true’ limpet. |
