Following Season's
Progress
Eulachon and Herring have already passed through. 
Here is an image from
early April
that shows plankton bloom in Hecate well advanced.
Its in areas where herring spawn hatches into. Amazing.
While the eulachon were surprisingly abundant on the Skeena
the herring were not.
