La Nina slowly ‘warming’

A cold spring continues

Even flowers ‘late’

Spring blooms ‘over’

Sorbus going to seed –along with dandelions etc

See previous Sorbus page and this page for 2002 ‘late June’ flowers which implies not temperature but day length which is more important

Skeena receding

The cool spring (and low snow pack) meant Skeena slowly peaked this year – with little flooding --- see my earlier where just peaking (with links to previous years) – there I used Maximum temps for PR AWOS

Here I have used PR airport AWOS minimum daily temperatures May June

While perhaps not that useful for the Skeena River runoff – does illustrate the ‘cool’ spring

Thus 7C for past month in 2008.
In 2007 about a degree ‘warmer’ (but a much larger snow pack)

2006 Warmer still

‘Warmer’ in sense of not getting as cold at nights
