Satellite graphic shows system coming to us by way of Hawaii – the OPC model shows system #2 presently more worrisome

 

 

 

Jetstream guides the pineapple

The SFSU Jetstream model indicates System #2 may have to go down to Hawaii to fuel up on some warm air before visiting the North Coast

 

 

 

At North Nomad (53.91N 138.85W) the system low passed around 10 AM

While in North Hecate (53.62N 131.10W) low just passing through – circa 2 pm

 

 

System heading NE to AK

Update 8pm – system has passed through and winds fallen off – temperatures falling

 

 

Active Front came ashore on NC around noon Saturday
Only gale force Thursday; but in Pacific potential hurricane developing
Wednesday's system came ashore south of us  
Locally strong outflow winds told us a 'low pressure' was approaching coast 
Sunday's  storm came ashore to south of us-- last update 1AM
