The Eulachon were due soon so there were many eagles around. Presumably things were not flush with food just yet because this small seabird drew lots of attention. The above photo has 2 ravens 3 mature eagles and one juvenile.

SHARE? The ravens proved
to have the poorest dinner manners. They would slip in while the adult ate
and try to get a bite. The Eagles showed almost disdain for the uncouth
fellows who seemed to have more bravery than good sense |

BRAVE? While the eagles were having a little dinner chat (perhaps) over who could have the have the scraps; Raven even tried to run off with the carcass himself |

SWOOSHEventually one of
the matures had enough of this. Eagle had previously flown away and just when
the “dinner conversation” was getting loud over who would claim the morsel,
in swooshed Eagle and scooped up the remains in his talons and flew off. |
