Overwaitea is ‘renovating’ its parking lot

Seems the material which was supporting the asphalt is giving way.

 

Perhaps like Prince Rupert itself- too much reliance in the past was given to the permanence of a pulp mill byproduct “hog fuel”

 

Is there a lesson here?
