Where is the Airport bus going to terminate???

Two alternatives were aired before City Council at its October 21^st public meeting: either accept the offer by Highliner Hotel to house the terminus; or have the bus carry on to the tourist visitor Center at Atlin facility in Cow Bay.

I am told by people that attended the noon meeting at city hall the airport committee found the Highliner acceptable but others objected. The lack of sufficient parking is usually given but this has to be taken with some skepticism. Competition from other hotels seems just as likely.

Easiest solution is to have the airplane bus let off passengers at several stops

So the City voted to spend up to 17T$ to put 2 inches on asphalt on this parking lot before winter sets in.

But that means driving passengers through town and leaving them stranded in Cow Bay. And who is going to foot the over-tivime bill when the planes come in late in the evening? PR Tourism?
