Trumpeter Swans stop over at PR Camp Grounds

Note the black beak which helps differentiate from other swans

The swans (at least 4 of them) were seen in the swamp area during the day and were reportedly bolder when people not around (early morning etc)

Still they did not fly away when approached as here in photos if they could see that there was swampy waters between us

The Mallards were not as care free and were easily frightened into flight.

By late April neither the swans nor the mallards were seen,
