The Promoters were in town

A cynic might question if this were not just another stock market gimmick. But this is the “New Era”. Senator Austin gives these guys credibility and an insider to the Chretien style “development” grants

  Seeing’s Believing

Powerpoint timeline for Hecate

Start First windmill in Oct 04 finish 07

Uniterre has history

This company has been into promoting mines in Australia, gas in Alberta, Gold at Eskay Creek in BC . But fortunes looked up with ‘alternative energy’

‘”You need 3 things”

Wind, good sea floor conditions and a grid to hook into

Is Hecate project for real??

These guys seem to think they have found a site with 20 feet of gravel in the seabed.

The site location does not appear to be very windy to me—plus some Area A Crab fishers AACF are on record as saying the site is too deep.(However, the new siting area is not in the area suggested by the AACF, as research indicates that their proposed site is too deep for feasible design of the wind farm.”)

Even Conservation Energy Watchdog group is skeptical project can be done without massive subsidies

Liberal Connections Count??

(Austin was Trudeau’s deputy minister of mines, energy & resources)

Mr. Adams said wind power is expensive - the cheapest estimate from alternative energy advocates is 8¢ a kilowatt hour (KwH), a substantial jump compared with Ontario, where consumers pay about 4.3¢ per KwH for electricity, or the U.S. mid-Atlantic, where electricity costs 2.5¢ per KwH.

The Power of the Internet

Sedar has many relevant statutory documents—of special note is the Annual  Information which allows you to see how many stock options these guys have if the company really takes off

See FIN for general financial and links to more critical info than on SEDAR
