Beldessi in
his paid press release claims Seafood was not a good investment of taxpayers $ While the
budget items graphed include more than the Seafood, it is the major item. (see the expenditures graph below) One sees
steady growth thru 1999 and then a decline. Federal and provincial grant $
are the main sources with BC share decreasing faster. These graphs
tell us little about 2002 and whether SQCRD was foolish in terminating their
arrangement with Seafood and Biotoxin. Could these
programs continue good work? Or had the election of provincial Liberals made
them superfluous? |
