Public property

“Business friendly” council

Time will tell but City Council does not want to deal with these ‘illegal’ signs

Illegal in that they should be on the stores own property to meet current by-laws

The 50% sign does not meet regs even if it were on owners property

But Council does not seem to mind --- and staff will not act until given OK by politicians

Here is another use of public property that is more respectful—yes there are signs and they may be illegal --- but they respect the pedestrian’s rights too – allowing center and majority of sidewalk to be free of hindrances

Here is a nuisance signage in my opinion

Meant to guide the pedestrian towards the establishment

Once stores see the sign laws no longer being enforced, then each establishment seems to vie on getting their sign into most prominent ( and obtrusive) place on Public’s sidewalks
