at times the rain was coming down in torrents – still it washed away the
white stuff and --- the really heavy rains seemed to have passed to the north

Russell
Gamble Gymnasium Bleachers --- here request given NTI for a grant required
Council motion – but nothing said in the meeting about how much of the 247T$ actually raised – though we did
learn that bleachers installed – that came in 2 containers – one from Asia
and 2nd from mid US ---- plus no one knew for certain if old bleachers
had been recycled – but thought were used for ‘flooring’ somewhere |

of the meeting spent discussing this and I will return tomorrow – council
chose option 3 which was to go to public for their input on size lots etc for

Luckily
this item was withdrawn – needed more information – (while I am guessing –
what exactly is a ‘partnership’ with this group? --- presumably it would
allow use City ‘charitable donations’ tax number --- or some such --- but
what about liability??--- Good it was dropped for now |

So far
grants are ˝ of what given last year – some question about Chamber Commerce
grant --- seems it was given – but perhaps they did not respond to a request
for meeting by City --- details later |

Other
than updated/ new PREDC Web site – there
was no elaboration on fate of PREDC --- and what will follow – though I
noticed Council remained after meeting so I expect Mussallem meant to update them
on what is in the works – more later |
