October 25th

Council meeting tonight

More later

So where is the water coming from? – I alleged from new housing unit on Kootenay

arrows point to water seepage on a good day –note the fene above etc

So here is my ‘evidence’

This Seniors Housing is pre-built form units brought into town – now only the roof etc needs to be done

Perhaps the problem will be remedied once the local drainage hooked up

Another ‘easy’ solution is to put a drain on Park avenue approximate where the yellow arrows are in figure above – Itherwise the Transition House site will be ‘flooded’ every heavy rain – potentially causing health problems etc

Thorkelson motion will keep charges to Hotels same revenue

This was a good motion and we will see how it works out – there will be winners and losers – but hopefully not the Residential howm owners

I see 5 Trailers – all hooked up to local sewage and presumably all getting a freeby from City

But what about?

This Motel also functions as a trailer park

What about Moose –which is mainly a bar? And Legion that has no function anylonger? Etc – whole thing needs a discussion --- but put off too long this year for one

And then there are the Grants

Here is a local business/ heritage house – that pays no taxes

More later but should be a good discussion
