Old boys Club meeting --- ‘we do it our way’

Another poor day for democracy

	Quick over view of meeting
	Most significant should be the Audit – but a stand in accountant was present to relay the message that ‘unqualified’ acceptance – perhaps a compliment to Keri Weick accounting skills –who is soon leaving for a better position with the port I hear

	North Pacific owes $$
	Perhaps Keri found this ‘oversight’ too – that $$ still owing from previous grant – which society wanted to bargain over – more later

	But then there is the obligatory in camera meeting
	Will have to look up what a, c, & g about

At least they have minutes – I suspect the meetings should be ‘advertised’ so Area A etc people can have input – see the Web page idea below

As I have said before the Electoral Areas have split off into a sub-group

Gas Tax $$ etc was behind this ‘independence’ (for abuse of Gas Tax & links see my previous) ---- but it is still an exclusive club of old boys where vast majority never consulted (1^st Nations etc)

	Hey they did come up with an excellent idea
	Using Grant $$ to revitalize the SQCRD web site --- now too bad their ‘Economic Development’ purview does not include majority of their constituents – Kitkatla, Hartley Bay et

	And let’s shut up those public questioners
	I suspect these new policies will be discussed in-camera and rolled out at the next meeting --- there is an irony here --- they refer to the main meeting and not their ‘club’ meeting

	Friday was a Sunny day --- Here a ground hog suns itself --- but clear days at this time of year draw in the fog banks off the Skeena/ Hecate

While the Recycling reductions of hours discussed – it was only to accept the management recommendation – more later
