While she did not
receive a sympathetic hearing from the mayor --- Martin worried for the
future of recycling in PR and addressed the need for diverting more materials
from land fill --- more later where I show local company illegally dumping
rather than recycling – which I suggest is too common |

salaries about 180T$) pool and Civic Center will remain open this summer
(except for usual maintenance) |

Dumbing Down

There
used to be 4 Council meetings a month --- Now 2—and instead of concentrating more
into remaining meetings – seems primarily ceremonial --- with most business
either done in camera (illegally?) or by staff with token acceptance from
Council and public input --- I suggest this is Mussallem approach where he
used to be staff and may still begrudge ‘outside’ interference’ (like
Citizens) – But it could be it’s the Dan Rodin style too ---- (keep everyone
in dark and they can’t criticize etc) |
