We See

The irony is that this fellow was recently ordered to clean up his lot --- looks like he did so  by moving most the junk onto neighbouring properties

Of course this is not the first time I have looked at this property (‘are we all equal?’ theme) – and quick comparison seems only more cars included – of course I am only guessing who the real owners of junkers are

This whole block of houses are derelict – presumably owner (houses 1-3) not aware the junk now on his property

See the presumed owner of all that junk (marked 4) put up new plywood sheets so ‘we’ can’t see the mess

Council looking at how to save $$

Bedard mentioned that 2010 was most difficult budget she has seen in her 14 years on Council – presumably the 100T$/ month for Watson Island is fuelling the slashing

I have looked at airport over the years: taxpayer subsidy ranges from 700T t0 1.2M$

Last time I suggested Golf Course not viable without lots of public $$--- the airport ferry etc is another deep hole needing public $$ to keep up – there was a report on ‘Airport Viability’ this last fall but never made public – more later

Swimming pool costs us more than Transit

Rec Center costs taxpayers about 3.2M$ per year  but we let City staff go free ‘for their health and here for more links to earlier  – Similar but with Poverty theme links while charging Healthy Heart people (via Northern Health buying yearly passes)

Morogna was told ‘Community’ had its input at OCP community meetings ---

I will come back to this later --- I attended most the OCP meetings – and no one ever brought up the topic of off street parking and providing loading areas to each business that I remember but I will go back and check further – I remember mainly do we want trees on 3rd Avenue? Or what kind of facades? Etc

And what about off street loading areas – this presumably ‘permitted’ this last year and thus not ‘grandfathered’
