Slight damage to door where came down on fire truck ladder

Prince Rumour:

I hear that ‘someone’ left the new fire truck in door way – which automatically closed after one minute --- coming down on the ladder of the new truck – little damage but an inspector had to be flown in from Vancouver to ‘re-certify’ the ladder as safe costing---???

Good link page to other web materials on this species

Ribes laxiflorum in bloom – here seen along CN tracks on ‘cliff’ below Chances

Berry edible – but not sought after – see E-Flora diagrams etc USDA for taxonomy; or >photos and here ethnobotanical uses

Taken from image below the color and shape of the petal are used in keys

Shape of leaf and color of petals are ‘key’ characters

This liquor outlet seems source of much the drinking outside etc --- platform left (‘owned by?) is a ‘favorite’ kids’ drinking spot below Highliner

CN brings RR ties back to PR

These are the old ties from replacements done up the line to Terrace – presumably being left here in PR

Image does not show – but ‘leaves’ about size of a quarter – note when ‘alders in leaf’ then sign to go out and pick Indian seaweed (Nori/ Porphyra) according to some local traditions See my earlier and March 2004 here
