Note the Huge
sign concerning Federal $$ being spent – One might guess Harper changed a few
door knobs – but I hear roof repairs were really done |

After last
system passed through – a period of showers |
|
While
there was the occasional soaking – it still led to numerous rainbows and
strongly contrasting light making for an enjoyable Fall day |

Contrast
City emissions document with Provinces |
|
Here
is from the City – obvious target would be gas powered vehicles --- but note
it is the fuel and not the cars per se – thus if vehicles were battery powered
from non Carbon produced electricity there would be no GHG emissions |
|
|
Provincial
brochure includes the land fill – huge producer of Methane etc |
|
When
City had its emissions inventory done – it did not have to deal with Dump –
plus PNG would not give them a figure for commercial/ industrial gas usage
--- thus understandably preliminary So
contrast it with 2009 release of CO2 emissions modeled by province – where
land fill producing about 1/3rd our emissions --- and perhaps
easiest to deal with without getting 3rd Ave etc ‘frazzled’ about
making real changes to transport/ Green building code enforcement etc (more
later) |

Above is from
the City – below the Province – note provincial GHG emissions about double the

SQCRD needs close attention – Does
Rupert need the hassle? I will argue later we subsidize the Charlottes – and
they produce most the ‘friction’ that seldom leads to light and more often to ‘combustion’ |
