Decline

See no evil?

Rules? That’s for losers --- garbage dumped as at right

All these houses and businesses are approaching slum quality – but no one seems to care

From the road doesn’t look that bad

Junk yard – to hazardous buildings etc

I count 7 junkers back here – all on city property

I also see commercial fishing gear stored back here from skiffs to nets to crab pots

So why are not City Bylaws enforced? Must be someone important

Going to be a long in-camera meeting Monday

Acquisition? – Hope not

Galaxy Gardens has to replace the windows broken by vandals

Remembering that Rupert has one of highest vandalism rates in BC

And what is being done?? More Later

Vandalism

We are working on this file – who is the Harbour Authority?? --- well currently it is these guys – see the corporate info Here

And who are the share-holders of this 'corporation'?? – currently only 3 directors --- though Harbour Boards were originally set up to reflect the user groups – and I suggest originally were 7 members – but while tax payers support them (DFO subsidy from Small Crafts) we don’t need to know what or who they are --- in words of Port Ed mayor (who is on Authority – appointed by whom?) ‘Go file an FOI’ – more later
