We See

Council meeting tonight

1st a look at Rupert Pasts & possible futures

Rupert as Fish town etc

Still no word on Harbour Authority --- seems to be an old boys club composed of Port Ed councillors and friends with no public accountability – though taxpayers $$ used

Town in Decline

Arrow points to rain gutter flapping in the breeze. Who owns the building? Port? Why has it been allowed to deteriorate so badly – note the log(?) ship anchored at far end of harbour--- another dream of Hays and Asian Exports of resources

Summarized view of recent past visions

Presumably a grain ship with a halibut boat in foreground and tourism sailboat on right --- all three Rupert visions of a Terminus (to somewhere else)

103 units to go on condominium market

You wouldn’t think PR would be this far seeing – but back then things were booming and apartments were at a premium

See this link for last apartment stratifications in PR

Citizens Role in this is to hold Council to its professed role

Macro properties holdings in PR

Contact info

Note that Cedar Ridge and Boulevard Apartments have some of the lowest vacancy rates (above right) while Digby and Sherbrooke practically empty

Fence is to keep young kids away

And did we really get all this equipment for free?
Note ParticipACTION says they only give 10% capital costs etc --- see my previous

Green Gym – reading the small print

this apparatus seemed one of most innocuous but it has a warning sign – note kids under 12 should not be using – which is about all you see down there etc

Still working on who owns lot 3

Some say since it is a water right it remains with the Province which might explain it not being listed on the Tax sales – for previous see

Climate Change and Skeena

Note how low the water in Skeena this fall – one would expect high water temperatures and perhaps disease etc in returning sockeye etc – more later

See this earlier page (bottom) for Skeena & climate change – and here for Maximum discharge Skeena etc--- and especially this page with Skeena R discharge links to previous works

More on this later

Presumably this will be the job of Green Team 2

Material looks to be almost computer generated especially the transportation aspect ---- and note PR electricity is not generated by fossil fuels etc as implied here
