Are there accountability issues here??

	Lots of kids using the exercise equipment to play
	A few people actually using it for exercise – While must assume this came via Grant $$ from province – still how much did City pay? When did Council give its approval? Has anyone looked into how this equipment will stand up to Rupert’s rains?

	Still one might ask what is the problem?– down at Rain’s outdoor patio, and over at the OceanView etc – people are sitting outdoors drinking wine etc

Here I want to emphasise the jargon filled presentation – seemingly done more by a spin doctor than a compilation of community input Questions of accountability remain: 300T$ spent in 2007 on remodelling the ‘Healthy Heart’ gym, etc and presumably a model for ‘primary care home’ – only to be axed 2 years later ---- I hear one of the problems was unable to quantify ‘how much’ this kind of thing worked in actually preventing serious, chronic health problems Accountability 2: Stories abound of people being sent all the way down to Vancouver at their own expense for a 15 minute interview with a ‘specialist’ – and then told to return again in a few months --- the kind of thing that should be done via the internet etc
