November 6th

We See

Budgets etc

City Crews cleaned up area – but I see no salmon going up ladder

Amending the Budget – Again???

Didn’t we go through his last several years

More later hen see the paperwork

Here is October 2007 when 5M$ ‘logic error’

 And the ‘revision’

And here is April 2009 Budget first

See my earlier where ‘Parking’ was to help pay for our services with links

And last May where Garon in Chair

Delegation to gripe about Atlin pay parking no doubt
But note the 2nd item is about potential Tidal powe
r

Atlin pay parking was to net City 78T$/ year – And see earlier where Boulevard study parking

Selling Water Lot

Interesting that the price is 265T$ or some such – that will about pay for the 100T$/ month to keep Watson Island running since Tax Sale

Tourism and Port

Dock built for Cruise ship traffic – but here Eastern Star waiting to take on Canola – sort of like a mixing of visions PR role in global economy

Note that the meeting is at 4:30pm – so either it is going to be a long meeting (with lots of food at taxpayers expense)

Or so short that can go home and feed themselves

Security of Property? – Sounds like discussing the firing of PPWC workers and replacing with their own people

I was told this was a minor expense –all $17,650 of it

Plus the CAO was wasting her time by discussing it with me --- same person that is earning 80$ an hour (so I am told) – remember Tanalee earned 75+$ under similar circumstances

Or end of this file where more links to firing Janet etc

SQCRD told me

--‘No big deal’

Benefits package (things like Blue Cross, medical insurance etc) paid for by (mostly) PR taxpayers so the Board members from Electoral Areas and QCIs municipalities can have coverage at our expense

More later – note Benefits lumped together so can’t tell which Directors ‘using’ Rupert taxpayers

Should we ‘rethink’ the SQCRD
Charlottes elected officials ‘living off Rupert taxpayers’ instead of their own electors?

More later once Council agenda package put online

I will argue thesis ‘time to scrap SQCRD’ later
