Audits are interesting

‘Only your accountant knows’

There seems to be nothing supporting the sidewalk on this end of property

I suspect the City Liable as on city property – but would have to see te legal drawings for property line

Pulp Mill Taxes

Looks like 7 million owing and ‘we’ should get the Sun Wave property by September 30th if don’t pay-up --- By the by – Prince Rumour says that a potential buyer (a local 1st Nation?) was recently turned down --- word is that Sun Wave wants to clear 8M$ for the mill – so on one hand they are contesting City Taxes saying assessment too high and on the other---

Note above where City owed 1.5M$ --- in CityWest 2008 audit they footnote that will repay City 500T$ in 2009 of this 1.5M$ (more on this later)

On City West

Note City West 20M$ ‘debt’ forgiven --- as this was ‘Good Will’ and might just be significant to accountants – still it should have been dealt with in an open meeting – or at least announced in an open meeting

More Secret meetings?

When did the City ‘guarantee’ a golf course loan?

The Regional Archives guarantee was discussed and voted on in an open meeting. I would question the legality of a guarantee done in-camera --- is anyone on Council a member of Golf Course Society?

Federal Gas Tax $$

Not even as much as gambling put into City coffers --- but then add the vehicle fines – parking fees etc

More later
