People are using
this spot on 2nd and McBride to sell stuff from cars to beef –
might be an idea to officially make it an outdoors market over summer |
|
We
Hear Rumors
about the Museum being sold or about to be sold to Kitkatla --- Here is how I
piece together the story --- Began with Carver asking City for help retaining
his spot in Carving Shed |
|
|
Plus
Mussallem wanting to sell SQCRD building |
|
First there was talk of selling the carving shed to Port Simpson, or some other village Now we are hearing
that the Museum itself sold --- I will return to this later – Very interesting
|
|
|
See my earlier where Master Carver Henry Green sought Council help Then that carving shed might be on Reserve Land
– Museum staff told me earlier in week the ‘carving shed’ solved as Green must leave etc- More later |

Zeller’s
shopping cart seemed to have worked |
|
I
see around town that the 25c token Overwaitea charging for use of its cart – not
sufficient to get cart’s returned – but these fellows took back the 1$
Zellers cart that they were using for a cheap taxi to carry bottles for
return |
|
The first
hint that something wrong was steady stream of water seen on 3rd
avenue Followed it
back to this ‘new’ driveway |
On digging
back yards |

|
Looks like
on Private Property |
|
Looks
like the lot belongs to the fellow that had the ground excavated --- the water
shut off is usually at the boundary of the property and I see one where the
‘W’ is Of
course this highlights the question if this is an official ‘lane’ or not ---
looks like gravel so presumably official |
|
|
Here is a fellow using my yard for
a driveway
|
|
I
have argued elsewhere that it was his ‘right’ as not my property --- but I
still had to repair the broken water line that was on my property and
started leaking the next day – go figure |
