Eulachon in the Skeena

Numerous people report seeing them up river

More later – Khyex- Kasiks areas

Signs of spring

City Council Meeting – Boring

A waste of time --- the rezoning of old CN Via station was the only event worth noting – (and it was a formality)

But Jack gets his PNCIMA rant in, though drops the conspiracy theories (apparent in innuendo still) more later

What Council did not tell us

Citizens being on a mere need to know basis --- But I was told several times that the owner of Innlander was given a building removal notice – served the day of the fire ---that subsequent to the fire another notice served that he was to contact City (staff) and tell what he was going to do with the derelict building by last Friday

Of course we will be the last to hear – but I suspect nothing heard Friday – more later

SQCRD – and carving shed

I hear about 10 people applied for the administrative assistant position at SQCRD --- presumably next they will ask the ‘Head hunter’ who orchestrated the search to narrow down to top 5 candidates etc

Carving Shed and 1st nations – but Museum needs to be ‘requested’ to talk with them – more later

Doesn’t get any better than this

Forecast seems to be saying the drought is over for PR

NOAA BC precip site

Civic Center over time

A high ranking first nations person from ‘Hartley Bay’ told me his Grandfather used to have a ‘smoke house’ here on the corner --- that the stream used to flow this way but was moved to present bed when Pool(?) built etc --- I’ll follow up on this ---
