Cow Bay and Downtown

Development Permit areas (DPAs)

Provided for in OCP (Official Community Plan) --- areas are marked in red below

(Not evident why McBride included but Cow Bay areas 1^st and 3^rd excluded

So far only local streams are included in Environmentally sensitive areas

Note ‘new’ industrial sites too would get DPA treatment

DPAs for other that downtown too

I would suggest many of the steep areas should get special treatment – as ‘environmentally sensitive’ etc – thus see the OCP fig 3 below
