NY Times Drought feared for 3rd year in California as La Nina returns—thus hoping for stormy weather

Here on the coast we have ‘escaped’ the real warming during ‘winter’ Dec-Feb as had La Nina offshore into spring 2008

But NOAA says we still have La Nina conditions for 2nd straight year (see NY Times above or links here) to NOAA
