Signs of Eulachon

Looking for revenue -- parking

‘Conflict of Interest’? – see my earlier for Bedard’s alleged conflict
It appears only remedy will be to go to Supreme Court and ask for her ‘Disqualification’ –Concerned Citizens(2)  decision Wednesday

Presently looking for 10 ‘Electors’ to sign the petition to go before Supreme court

Plus SQCRD meeting Friday – we’ll see then if Hesse has filed for posted job of

Deputy Chief Administrative Officer

Eulachon soon back – signs of spring

The signs are around – here a group of Eagles freshly returned to PR – others tell of increasing numbers of seals, sea lions, etc coming close to shore at Skeena estuary --- into Douglas Channel, etc

Plus I hear that fellows at Kinkolith recently killed a sea lion and found its stomach full of Eulachon

(use these links as ones on my earlier PR.com pages not updated)

See my previous --- earliest 2000 on Biology, 2002 Eulachon Conference in PR, and Eulachon as food among 1st Nations

The 2006 articles best of the series—first ‘Eulachon in trouble?’, then Forage Fish story

We See – Parking meter ready

Was supposed to be here in November – but in place now but not activated—must be waiting for the Spring

Earlier Kumar had promised lots of revenue from parking – 300T$ by 2009

We Hear

I over heard staff saying MacDonald’s would be closed later in spring for a complete interior make over – tentatively in May

We See

Cars were lined up all day to get into the car wash

I am dubious that ‘we’ the rate payers charge these high water users enough – but would be more significant if canneries were open
