11th May

Rain stays offshore

But High pressure off California weakening

Eagles come to play

Above there are maybe 15 eagles soaring in this image Seen similar in other years (here at TPL on May 10th 2004

After soaring above downtown – they came down to land on 2nd Avenue buildings – above are about 5 on roof these 3 buildings --- --- local meeting or get together

I have used the dandelions and alders in previous years to ‘measure’ the march of spring – In 2004 alders ‘done’ by end of April – and see the dandelion links in 2007 where find varies from year to year

But 2007 similar to 2008 while 2005 (El Nino year) they bloomed much sooner

Alders & dandelions mark season – slow this year

Here Seniors Housing appears to be replacing sewer lines

Symptomatic of city infrastructure – so why then does this years city budget ‘borrow’ from sewer and water utility funds to pay for general operating fund? --- and that is before the tax increase

We’ll see what Council has to say Monday PM ---

More on budget Monday
