Gets tough – who is the boss here?

I am told the commercial sports boats have been told they can not put on passengers or take them off from dock facilities

Not clear if a ‘license’ required or what –

Some protest that Dodge Cove Ferry is OK so why not sport’s charters

Others argue that not a ‘customer’ until after step on vessel

We are the Boss attitude

I wonder if these facilities pay City taxes?

I would suggest they should and better as presumably other docks and commercial operations on flosat should have to

I’ll check into it later

Public Consultation within next few weeks

Suggested City could use 1 or at most 3 sewage treatment plants

My suggestion that Pulp Mill property (which already has digesters etc) would be better – was dismissed as unfeasible --- as have to pump sewage out there – but no costing done

Cruise ship and City property

I am told the City has ‘given’ the old road way to the fish processor --- there seems to be quite arbitrary practices here of who can get ‘freebies’ and who can not --- And ‘City property’ really means public property – and ‘City’ only acts with Citizens ‘permission’

Snow Goose passing through

Presumably an immature snow goose based upon bill nad black wing tips etc

At first I thought is was a domestic bird as so oblivious to people and kids playing – I was able to approach within 10 feet for the inset picture

Horsetail

I will return to this – lost the ‘inset’ picture of Equisetum in ‘flower’
