we had not been able to pay Sheila
Gordon Payne was having an exceptionally good night – peppering the Council
chatter with numerous sharp observations – here she mentioned that it was she
who was at table in 2005 accepting the $$ I’ll

much of the Pond legacy – it will take time to see what and how the C2C plays
out over time --- will it be just another photo op? Or will it be the

Main part of
meeting began with a CityWest presentation |
Was
added to the Agenda – we can see why --- purpose was to counter suggestions
that CityWest should be sold --- Jack Payne representing the board and |
The Case
made |
Numbers
of employees and the added value of quick professional work – example given

The Way
Forward |
This
slide should go along with the map below – where ‘penetration’ of market seen
as % of potential households |
2008 |
I
may have skipped a few slides that offered ‘sensitive’ info Note
the 26% penetration – and ‘Homes Served’ on map – which really means units
passed by cable lines etc |
Were proud
of their new pricing bundle package |
Plans for
2009 |
So
the Digital TV will be extended to Kitimat etc Note
the 1600 present subscribers in Terrace and PR represents 26% of the
potential market (penetration) |
I’ll present
rest November 10th meeting tomorrow |
And both these items were not the
real meeting
Note
the exceptional extra (and closed) meeting
November 12th (link is
to PDF) at penthouse of Coast Hotel --- Howie contract (?) and what litigation??? – Doug Jay???
