Interesting dynamics going on here

At its most blatant in the attempt to deal with feral cats

At its most subtle when Financial Officer is researching presenting cat bylaw, transit increase etc

Says it is a monthly report, but 1^st time I have seen it at regular council meeting In its way most interesting document at meeting – later	Look at finances at half way point

		A gamble for the bleacher replacement
		With Doug Jay ‘away’ the activity at council meetings split between the CFO and the Recreation director --- here the pitch is made for more, better seating with replacement bleachers – I’ll come back to this later – but note here though the content of the proposal was Curnes would look for other funding – in reality the city has committed itself to 247T$ if he proves unable to get other funders – or it would if / when given ‘final’ approval (see page 15 information pkg—PDF 4.9Megs)
Note the 2008 Capital Works Budget is (taken from ‘monthly Financial report’)
The Annual Report was discussed and passed an interesting document which I will dissect in its own page
Why are the bus fares being raised??—discussion later

This brought out more conflict than any recent issue ---
