Cheap buildings draw attention from sown south

Easy to invest  in a ‘cheap’ building – get a couple years crop and it is paid for – so the story goes

Marijuana Grow ops

Some irony here that grow op operating out of ‘abandoned’ RCMP building

There was a ‘good story’ about the Imperial Palace – that police happened on building when gaining access because of broken water line --- but people familiar with area say no truth – the broken waterline was in alley, etc

Seems someone bought building about year ago. A dumpster showed up as they gutted old interior – a few days later a moving van showed up and took stuff inside. Nothing heard nor seen of anyone since. While not as ‘eye witness’ the RCMP builing similar – no activity noted

You gotta wonder

Presumably being built for the cruise ship tourists --- as if town did not have better more pressing things to spend money on – like roads and sewers etc

Remember the Kennedy report on Infrastructure needs

Sign of Spring – Lawn Mowing

Safeway had bushes trimmed and lawn mowed – in preparation for the spring weather
