Pay Parking

Rushbrook begins

A work in progress

 The signs are up

The by-law officer issuing ‘warnings’

Few appear 2b paying so far

Signage for George Hills way ‘soon’

Previous where ‘getting ready’ for pay parking

Earlier: where pay parking promised and links to previous –and here for more general issue on parking study where nearly 3T ‘on street’ parking spaces found downtown

The lots were mostly empty

We’ll see how this works over time – already it seems to have ‘evicted’ numerous trucks/ trailers that last year would have set there for months on end

A few had purchased tickets

Presumably by-law officer around earlier in day because while about half dozen ‘warnings’ seen in windows (as at left) – I saw few paid parking tickets being displayed

Side lot for Commercial only

Again only time will tell – perhaps only half the lot needed to be reserved --- the boat trailer has no ticket – and is from Washington state – so might never see an ‘owner’ ---(leave a cheap trailer here and boat home – thus only 1 way

Escape?

This truck & trailer has been there several days – city staff told me the signage is not completed yet, but this will soon become limited parking to a few hours only --- unless ticket bought at Rushbrook
