Penny Pinching?

More stuff from Agenda

Both Gordon Payne and Cote wondered if Green worth the $$---
in lieu of criticism?

Green Task Force a report and TOR given council – 4 page PDF

Measuring up = $1154

SD 52 school closures

Green Funding (was) available

Rupert too can be green

We missed ICPS funding – but will reopen see below

1st approach: mitigate and then adapt

Mitigation usually means to try to see where green house gases emissions can be reduced --- and so the first part of the task force is so mandated-

Then there rare the chances to adapt – like changing building codes etc—that will be the second part of report.

Cote made the point of 600$

Isn’t this the same fellow who demanded Council look again at logging across the harbour & then 2T$ paid for a ‘professional foresters’ opinion?

At May 25th meeting Cote was aghast that 26T$ paid for parking consultant’s study for yet another ‘parking’ committee

Shows the fellow too busy to read the minutes of meetings he missed?

NCMA web site has the info and good resource for regional government info

Measuring up the North = $1,154

Did you know: 13% of BC’s population has a disability

Measuring Up The North assists communities to evaluate how accessible and inclusive their community is now, and to work together to set goals and work towards improvement
