Sound of chain saws

While no sound attached to this image – chain saws were droning --- I was surprised the proponents were so gung ho --- trees will be gone in a couple days

	Alfred St – There goes the neighbourhood
	I like the ironies – 300T$ houses aimed at middle class on Edward St and across the back fence is a working class neighbourhood of Wartime Housing We’ll see if there is a ‘culture clash’ or how neighbors can coalesce into ‘community’

	Those yellow garbage bags are Civic Pride project from Sunday March 18^th – presumably picked up paper/ trash beneath and around bridge ---- By Monday all the bags were floating in Hays Creek --- ‘Vandals’ had undone volunteer effort ---

	Bingo Hall closed
	Anticipating the opening of the new ‘Casino’ BC Gambling people were in town to tell locals that problem gamblers are not caused by nor increased by electronic slots --- story later --- here the clash was between ‘science’ and advertising
