Janet Beil Fired	19 years w Regional District
	Watch out for politicians

I hear she will get 1 month severance for every year worked
but don’t expect politicians to tell you how much it cost

I am told that TL Hesse who is PR Administrator Gordie Howie’s wife

Is now the SQCRD administrator --- no official announcements made if this is temporary or not

SQCRD meeting FRI night 'removes' JB then goes in-camera

9) Friday meeting removed Janet from check signing authority – giving no reasons—a lawyer was present but claimed ‘privileged information’ and kept silent--- story later on checks – which now will have to be sent to QCIs to be signed by chair B Pages

8) SQCRD meeting 7PM Friday -- could be interesting-- I hear minutes from last meeting read like 'creative writing 101' --- While B Pages guards office, JB working from home --- she is hoping for best (RD, family, community), but we won't know outcome of closed meeting vote until Saturday

7) I heard Janet & T Hesse had some words and melodramatic moments, finally Tony came over and 'settled' things. TH went back to City and Janet got down to work. The 'termination' still scheduled for next Friday meeting.
Compromises are at hand if anyone on Board were interested -- but seems they are more into paying Janet almost 2 years severance than finding solutions

6) I am told that T Hesse will be administrator of SQCRD as of 15 Feb.
I am also told Janet will be terminated at in-camera meeting on 23rd. 19 years service not important (except when it comes to figuring out severance). Budget etc due by March 31st --- but hey now Rupert has its wish to 'control' SQCRD
Here a recent QCI Observer story says JB reinstated – and sees another administrator as only ‘helping out’ -we'll see Thursday which scenario plays out

5) 'in-camera' meeting scheduled Tuesday at 5PM
we should know outcome by Weds Feb 14th

4) Not so Good News: SQCRD told me that 'Janet will be back in office Thursday'
I interpreted this to mean she has been reinstated BUT
Now seems SQCRD has turned into 'frequent flyers' as have scheduled meeting in 2
weeks to terminate her contract -- this time they will use taxpayer $$ and pay her a severance
(How Much?? 120T$ ++++ but don't/ won't tell taxpayers-)

3) SQCRD 'suggested' I leave building,
after refusing to allow me to see copy of last meeting 'minutes' -Sunday update

2) ex PR Mayor J Mussallem seen at SQCRD -- offered the (interim) job?
Update later ---Janet given suspension ---then terminated? Bring in the lawyers?
