	Joe V says he came by here one evening and stepped directly on this ‘shard’- luckily only ruined the runner shoe and did not enter the foot There was a sign here that fell over in high winds – sign presumably belongs to province – but City might be liable too

	National aboriginal days celebration –
	Day purposely chosen for summer solstice as this was important ceremonial occasion

	Last of the flowerings
	This is at the mall with good sunny exposure – Thimbleberry or Rubus parviflorus (belies its Latin name as has many not few flowers) Salmonberries will be ripe soon – flowering season almost over
