OCP backgrounder

Is there enough water?

Tofino replay?

When I took query to Engineering department, Bob Thompson was ‘speechless’:
Never happen here – we have more water than we will ever need

Plus recently upgraded pipe from Shawatlans

After investigating – I agree (about quantity available –will need further investigations into size pipes etc)

‘If need be, we could still pump water from Shwatlans’--

‘We used to pump water from Shwatlans’

Not sure why ‘we’ collectively did not pay more attention to this --- a great idea – we now get our water from Woodworth lake – and it is gravity fed to PR --- thus increasing volume and reducing costs
