City Council Dec 11th	Very interesting meeting
	‘I was so wound up I came back (to council chambers) later in the night’ --- said Pond

Meeting of the Titans?

For me the highlight was ‘Seal Cove properties’ meeting ROYOP --- one white haired and the other ‘youthful’ – and neither seemed to know anything about other

But ‘energy’ of the meeting was in all the locals showing up to make their opinions heard – and those were diverse

Interesting group

It was good to see all these people coming to have their points of view listened to --- many were concerned with the stratification of Roosevelt Heights apartment --- Mr Dan Maclean was present to speak for stratification

	Universal Citizens – youths making a difference
	Cassandra Gallette-Viscount and Elisha Nicole Seabrook --- both with long list of ‘making a difference’ in community – see the agenda package pages 10-12 (PDF 4.5 megs) for list as read in Council

	ROYOP and future expansion of PR
	Again very interesting and drew most diverse approaches from local architect speaking against to local Union rep speaking for (story later)

‘Historic meeting’

In this photo is ‘Danny’ Maclean and the consultant planner contracted by City to work on rezoning etc – presumably after Tom Ireland left no one has credentials to handle these type questions --- I would have liked to had photo ROYOP meets Danny--- or ROYOP meets 'Seal Cove properties' -- symbolic --outside Council Chambers --'I provide shopping for your tenants' ----- In fact ROYOP shopping will replace Seal Cove mall
