New Stores in PR

Times change

Usury anyone?

  Sign of the times

hard times draws in the ‘money lenders’

A CBC program questioned if the rates etc charged by these stores did not fall under the Usury laws of Canada and thus illegal ---- still they fill a ‘need’ by poor people unable to get loans or government assistance

Kids games?

Don’t understand this?

A friend counted 40 kids inside this store playing games presumably with the ‘action figures’ as illustrated on the poster

Here is a web site selling similar;-- presumably this is the ‘monopoly’ board game of another generation

Furniture?

Company branched into Rupert after several stores ‘up river’ from here

Course haven’t included the sex store etc on 3rd
