especially ‘7 or 35?’ section

7 Free Swim Passes to 1st Responders or >35???

I have asked the City for an ‘official’ count of number free passes given out to RCMP, fire, paramedics etc. Three days and no word yet. Talked with a Constable who seemed to be saying passes were not a ‘gift’ but an ‘obligation’ of some sort – I understood it to be contractual, or maybe just ‘common practice’ – thus North Vancouver has a gym set up in detachment for use by officers, provided by the Municipality etc (as I remember the conversation).

Whatever, I am told something ‘official’ will happen soon, perhaps at next week’s Council meeting – updates to follow

Storm approaching from West

Predicted Storm Force 50 knots overnight and into Friday locally

Back side of the system with the strongest winds

The GOES West image and the WindScat appear to be same time – and thus ‘clearly’ see the strongest winds in this system are from SW – which is after rain, clouds pass (dotted line) compared to GOES West

Friday Storm – only a gale locally
