What will happen to Odin?

The new “customs” building is coming along fine—but rumors persist that a deal has to be made to move the fish plant out of the nearby building --- seems the fire regs say need more space between the two – see left – and thus want to tear down this old section --- But the fish plant has a 4 year lease --- we hear ‘negotiations’ with ‘my boss in Vancouver’. Rumors keep surfacing about huge amounts of $$ to move them elsewhere --- to be paid by city?

Welfare cut off?	“199 people got their last check on Weds”
	The people who said this had been in the welfare office that day and confirmed that is what they were told by staff --- still no one has confirmed this

BC Ferry repairs	25M$ to fix the drive shaft etc
	This rumor was persistent for a couple days and then disappeared --- at time the sub text was that too expensive and gov’t might balk at the large sum
